As a student in Delhi, Prasanta joined his first Nuakhai Bhetghat at Jawaharlal Nehru University. What began as a taste of home became a lifelong mission. Two decades on, he now leads Nuakhai in Dubai — carrying western Odisha's harvest festival to a global diaspora.

2006 · JNU, DELHI
Prasanta took part in his first Nuakhai Bhetghat at Jawaharlal Nehru University — the spark that set two decades of cultural work in motion.
DELHI YEARS · JNU & JUHAR PARIBAR
He became an active member of the JNU Odia circle and Juhar Paribar, celebrating Nuakhai year after year and helping keep the festival alive far from home.
2016 · DUBAI, UAE
After moving to Dubai, he joined Nuakhai Paribar UAE — bringing the harvest festival to the Gulf's growing Odia diaspora.
2019 – PRESENT · DUBAI, UAE
As a core member, Prasanta now leads Nuakhai Paribar UAE — turning a community gathering into a vibrant global platform where hundreds of artists find recognition.
The journey continues.
